You have discovered you are pregnant, and are thinking about commemorating the news with a <a href=\"https:\/\/michellesailerphotography.com\/stage\/houston-texas-maternity-photography\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">maternity photoshoot.<\/a> But you are not sure when exactly to schedule the photoshoot. Maternity photography is a relatively new concept, so there\u2019s bound to be some questions and apprehensions regarding the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">As to when you should have your maternity photos taken? Well, it&#8217;s best if you do it at the end of your second trimester or at the start of the third. The seventh month (28- 34 weeks) of the pregnancy is preferable. This is because by this time you should have a noticeable baby bump, without which the whole purpose of the photoshoot is defeated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Also, at this stage of the pregnancy, you should still be able to move around, change into different outfits, pose, and otherwise participate in a photoshoot without feeling too bogged down or exhausted. Delaying the shoot beyond the 28-34 week period may make the whole process uncomfortable and stressful, something you should definitely avoid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">While the actual shoot may be months away, there are things you can, and should, do to prepare for it. First, you are going to need a photographer. Finding a <a href=\"https:\/\/michellesailerphotography.com\/stage\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">good maternity photographer <\/a>who can match your stylistic sense will take time and effort. So ask your friends and family for suggestions, and browse through portfolios of recommended photographers. Also make sure to book the shoot upfront, and to not leave it till the last moment as, by then, the photographer may no longer be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Once you have hired the photographer, start planning. Location, clothes, theme, color scheme etc. all require your attention. So get together with your partner and discuss your vision, have a chat with your photographer, go location scouting, think about the clothes you would like to wear and the other aspects of the photoshoot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The most important thing though? Have fun. After all, maternity photoshoots are meant to capture and celebrate one of the fondest and most memorable periods of your life.
